The association A TRANS POTSDAM is a private initiative supported by culturally interested citizens. The association regards itself as a conceptual laboratory for creative artists and as a platform for communication about contemporary art, architecture, and culture. It promotes in particular participatory projects in public spaces, dialogue between individuals and scientists who are preoccupied with issues related to art and architecture, as well as collaborations with regional, national, and international institutions which pursue similar objectives. One focus of the association's program is the organization of events such as exhibitions and studio visits, public project presentations, and discussions, as well as seminars and colloquia on art and architecture.
